Reception of M/S Bakkanes

On Saturday 18th September 2021 a public reception is held at Glyvrar on the occasion of the arrival of Farming Service Vessel M/S Bakkanes. There will be speeches and music, and guests get the opportunity to visit onboard our new vessel.

3:00 PM            Nes Sóknar Brass Band plays

3:05 PM            Regin Jacobsen, CEO of Bakkafrost, speaks

3:10 PM            Magnus Rasmussen, Minister of Environment, Industry and Trade, speaks

3:20 PM            Torbjørn Jacobsen, mayor of Runavík municipality, speaks

3:30 PM            Ian Laister, CEO of Scottish Salmon Company, speaks

3:40 PM            Regin Jacobsen, CEO of Bakkafrost, ends

3:45 PM            Nes Sóknar Brass Band plays the national anthem

3:50 PM            Open ship on board M/S Bakkanes until 5:30 PM
